Cara Mendapatkan Qatar Nursing License

@Nursing_Post | Tulisan ini merupakan kelanjutan tulisan yang berjudul “Bagaimana caranya agar bisa bekerja menjadi perawat di Qatar”. Isi tulisan ini mungkin sedikit berbeda dengan yang saya alami sendiri tentang proses memperoleh Qatar Nursing License. Saya yang saat ini sedang bekerja di Qatar sebagai perawat, memang tidak melalui tahapan seperti yang akan saya tuliskan nanti. Hal ini dikarenakan saya dan teman-teman saya telah masuk ke negara Qatar sebelum tahun 2010. Kebijakan pemerintah Qatar melalui Supreme Council of Health (SCH) hanya mewajibkan kami untuk mengumpulkan semua dokumen akademik, sertifikat-sertifikat pelatihan, serology test (test bebas HIV, bebas hepatitis B, dan bebas hepatitis C), surat pengajuan pendaftaran, dan surat pernyataan kelakuan baik (terbebas dari kemungkinan terkena kasus hukum terkait dengan profesi keperawatan). Setelah proses verifikasi dokumen-dokumen tersebut, akhirnya kami mendapatkan Qatar Nursing License tanpa melalui tahap uji tulis yang diberlakukan seperti sekarang ini.

SCH Qatar merupakan lembaga pemerintah Qatar yang menangani perijinan semua tenaga kesehatan professional di Qatar. Sejak 1 April 2010, MLD (Medical Licensing Department) yang berada dibawah SCH Qatar bertanggungjawab terhadap perijinan tenaga kesehatan professional yang meliputi General scope physicians (dokter), General scope dentists (dokter gigi), General scope nurses (perawat), Midwives (bidan), Pharmacists (apoteker), Laboratory technicians (teknisi laboratorium), Physiotherapy Technician (teknisi fisioterapi), dan EMT (Emergency Medical Technician). MLD menegaskan bahwa untuk bisa bekerja atau melaksanakan prakteknya, semua tenaga kesehatan professional diatas termasuk tenaga perawat, harus lulus dalam licensing examination sebagai bagian dari proses evaluasi menyeluruh.

MLD mempunyai misi untuk melindungi kesehatan dan keselamatan masyarakat Qatar dengan menjamin semua praktisi kesehatan berlicensi/berijin itu kompeten dan sehat untuk melaksanakan prakteknya.

Dalam website resmi SCH Qatar, ada berbagai macam persyaratan yang harus dilengkapi dan berbagai tahapan yang harus dilalui untuk mendapatkan nursing license ini.

Online Registration

SCH Qatar memberikan layanan online yang bisa diakses 24 jam sehari dan 7 hari seminggu untuk mengupload persyaratan mendapatkan nursing license.

DataFlow

MLD has outsourced document verification and credential checking to DataFlow, an international screening and investigation company. This initiative has been highly successful in stopping applicants with false documents and problems in their previous practice from getting licensed in Qatar (www.sch.gov.qa).

MLD telah melakukan kontrak dengan DataFlow® untuk memverifikasi dan meneliti semua dokumen sebuah perusahaan skrining dan investigasi. Langkah ini telah sukses memberhentikan para aplikan yang memberikan dokumen-dokumen palsu dan mempunyai masalah praktek sebelumnya untuk mendapatkan license di Qatar. Customer Service Improvements

MLD has initiated a number of improvements to enhance our service to customers including: Introducing a set of forms and requirements for each activity managed by MLD including evaluation, renewal and applications for certificates of good standing. Introducing “open days” when applicants and their representatives may visit us and be assured of speaking with a qualified licensing officer about discuss their issues and concerns (www.sch.gov.qa).

MLD telah melakukan berbagai peningkatan layanan termasuk: Mengenalkan tentang formulir-formulir dan berbagai macam persyaratan yang dibutuhkan dalam setiap tahap evaluasi, pembaruan, dan aplikasi untuk certificate of good standing (semacam sertifikat kelakukan baik sebagai perawat). MLD juga melayani secara langsung di kantor pusatnya kepada para aplikan dan perwakilannya bilamana ingin berdiskusi tentang berbagai hal.

Examinations

The MLD has recently signed an agreement with Prometric MENA to provide computer based testing for our applicants. For the first time, candidates will be able to schedule their examination at any time to suit their individual circumstances and may write their examination at any one of 10000 testing centres in 164 countries around the world (sch.gov.qa).

MLD juga melakukan kerjasama dengan Prometric MENA untuk menyelenggarakan ujian dengan computer (computer based testing/CBM). Aplikan atau kandidat bisa membuat jadwal (appointment) sesuai kelonggaran waktunya dengan mengontak langsung di salah satu dari 10,000 testing center yang tersebar di 164 negara di seluruh dunia. Di Indonesia beralamat di “The International Education Foundation Menara Imperium 28th Floor, Suite B Jalan H. R. Rasuna Said Metropolitan Kuningan Super Blok Kav No.1 12950 Jakarta Indonesia”, dengan kode testing center 8801. Info alamat testing center lainnya bisa diakses melalui website www.prometric.com

Untuk mendapatkan nursing license ini bisa diurus sendiri dan juga diurus melalui PJTKI yang akan memberangkatkan. Berikut ini akan saya coba uraikan bagaimana tahapan proses mendapatkan Qatar nursing license, berikut penjelasannya:

1. Melengkapi persyaratan tahapan evaluasi. Dalam tahap ini ada dua kemungkinan, ditolak dan diterima. Jika dokumen kita diterima maka kita akan mendapatkan sertifikat evaluasi. Berikut ini dokumen-dokumen yang diperlukan dalam tahapan verifikasi:

a. Evalution Application Form

b. Curriculum – Vitae (C.V)

c. Copy of Valid Passport + Page of valid residency (if any)

d. Two recent photos

e. Letter from the potential employer in the state of Qatar

f. Copy of Proof of Submission to the Verification Company

g. Original Certificate of Good Standing ,must be sent directly from the Registration authority of the last 5 years of work experience, to: Registration Section ,Medical Licensing ,Supreme Council of Health , P.O.Box : 7744

h. Copy of all Academic Certificates (Bachelor Degree or its equivalent +Official Transcript +Internship, Secondary School Passing Certificate (for nurses only), Master Degree or its equivalent, Doctoral Degree or its equivalent).

i. Copy of all work Experience Certificates (years of experience may vary from one profession to another according to Medical Licensing Department policies).

j. Copy of Valid Medical License or Registration from home country and Medical licenses accompanying the required years of work experience.

k. Personal Declaration

l. Copy of receipt of fees payment (non – refundable)

2. Mengikuti ujian kualifikasi dengan menyerahkan sertifikat evaluasi (hasil verifikasi dokumen). Untuk melakukan appointment ujian, silahkan merujuk pada alamat website www.prometric.com dan alamat cabang penyelenggara prometric di Jakarta.

3. Memenuhi persyaratan untuk mendapatkan surat ijin perawat di Qatar (Qatar nursing license). Berikut dokumen-dokumen yang perlu dilengkapi dalam proses mendapatkan nursing license di Qatar:

a. Licensing Application Form

b. Copy of Evaluation Certificate or Passing Certificate or their equivalent

c. Two recent photos

d. Copy of Valid passport +Page of valid residency

e. Original blood test( from Medical Commission Dept.)& CDC stamp of Vaccination (from Department of Public Health)

f. Employment Letter (no Objection letter from the employer)

g. Original Police Clearance Certificate from Qatari Ministry of Interior (for Visiting Doctors, attested Police Clearance Certificate from home country)

h. Copy of{ Valid Recognized CPR (cardio-pulmonary resuscitation) Course or its equivalent) or (CPR registration reset+Undertaking letter)

i. Copy of all Academic Certificates (Bachelor Degree or its equivalent +Official Transcript +Internship, Secondary School passing certificate (for nurses only), Master Degree or its equivalent), Doctoral Degree or its equivalent).

j. Copy of all work experience certificates (years of experience may vary from one profession to another according to Medical Licensing Department policies).

k. Copy of Valid Medical license or Registration from home country and Medical licenses accompanying the required years of work experience.

l. Original Certificate of Good Standing ,must be sent directly from the Registration authority of the last 5 years of work experience, to: Registration Section ,Medical Licensing ,Supreme Council of Health ,P.O.Box : 7744. 

m. Verification Report of all presented documents

n. Personal Declaration

o. Copy of Facility Inspection Report (for new unlicensed facilities)

p. Copy of receipt of fees payment (non – refundable) 

4. Bilamana anda sudah bekerja di Qatar, status nursing license anda juga bisa dicek secara online di website www.qchp.org.qa.

5. Qatar nursing license ini berlaku selama 1 tahun. Sebelum memasuki masa kadaluarsa, pemegang nursing license bisa memperbaruinya atau renewal secara online di website http://www.qchp.org.qa/.
